The Elite Clicks Media team has been planning for this conference for the last month. We will not be having a booth at this one, but the entire team will be in attendance. The last few months have been very rough for many marketers that have not been in the game that long and for a few veterans. Google went on a slapping spree and banned hundreds of affiliates. For some affiliates this was a sign that affiliate marketing was not for them. For others this was a sign that they depended to heavily on Google. The fly by night affiliates have packed up camp and are moving on to other careers. But the true affiliates, are dug in deeper than Patton’s third army and are adapting and overcoming. Affiliate marketing is bigger than Google and bigger than adwords PPC! Look into media buying, direct mail, and e-mail marketing. Also yahoo and Bing have stepped the game up, they are no where near the power of Google as far as traffic but a smart marketer can maximize what they have to offer.

Many internet marketing Gurus have started a movement dismissing the power of niche marketing. They have said that a 7 figure business cannot be built outside of a major market. Well we say niche marketing is alive and kicking. Building a 7 figure business in any niche is doable but,it depends on your market share, your dominance in the niche, customer retention, and the ability to up sell. If you are the authority figure in your niche the sky is the limit. But after dominating a niche do not be afraid to venture into another niche and take over. Multiple streams of income is a necessity in the affiliate world especially with the volatility of the market.

There are some lazy marketers out there that are comfortable making a couple thousand a week. But, for the big money marketers, the guys that make $50,000 a day split testing is a must. The ABT of marketing is always be testing. One change, in color, in font, in the picture, on a landing page could boost conversions 30%. Split testing ads is also very important, just changing one word in your ad copy could double the effectiveness of your ad. Unless you are split testing you will never know how much money you are potentially leaving on the table.
